Lavender (Botanical Name: Lavandula Officinalis​, Country of Origin: France) is native to the Mediterranean but is now cultivated all over the world. Lavender has a long and rich history in folk and alternative medicine. Lavender essential oil can help with skin irritations, digestion, headaches, anxiety, and stress symptoms.  Lavender is antiseptic, analgesic, antimicrobial, and sedative.

Lavender Uses
​Lavender is generally considered to be one of the most versatile herbs and essential oils.
Diluted with a carrier oil or in a balm or spray, lavender can treat acne, bruises, eczema, inflammation, insect bites and stings, boils, psoriasis, and sunburn.
Inhaled or rubbed on the stomach with a carrier oil, lavender oil can ease stomach aches, flatulence, and nausea.
When diffused or worn on the body as a perfume or in an aromatherapy necklace,lavender can have a calming effect which may ease symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, or hyperactivity. Lavender linen or pillow spray can help to ease symptoms of insomnia or sleeplessness.
